I used a 10s self-timer to make this photo and took about 20 shots before I got it right. I didn't ride down the stairs because I can only ride on flat surfaces.
Wow! this goes instantly to my favorites! Not only the picture is really amazing but I find it incredible that you've got this successful shot of yourself... by yourself! One of the best self-portraits I've seen! Already the fact that you are riding an unicycle is but the composition and the contrast of the picture is super as well! I love the texture of the wall, which reminds me of the older times and paper texture ( ). The emotions are well-captured too! You seem to be saying: "Oh man, here I go! I can do this!" Everything is well-framed, there is (purposely?) more space in the bottom than the top, giving us a sense of height and the subject is more onto the left side, which shows us where the rider's "heading". I don't think it would be such an amazing captured if you were centered in the middle, so great job! *The only thing though, was that the shoes bothered me! They don't really fit in and it attracted more of my attention than wished. Otherwise the photo in general is a great success!
Ok ok now what if, WHAT IF, you set the unicycle on fire and do a back flip off the stairs. Most epic shot ever. Oh, and you'd have to be juggling bowling balls too.
Wow, it must've been so hectic to run up to the camera and press the button, and then run back and get on the unicycle and cycle up to edge. I can't believe you don't look hot sweaty! hahaha! I love it!
